Όλοι σας γνωρίζετε ότι το όνομα του Θεού είναι το ύψιστο. Γιατί προσκολλάτε το νου σας στα παροδικά πράγματα αυτού του κόσμου; Γιατί δεν περνάτε τον χρόνο σας στον διαλογισμό και στην επανάληψη του ονόματος του Κυρίου;
Apégate a Dios. Sed valientes y seguid siempre adelante.
Habrá muchas montañas que cruzar, pero no te detengas hasta alcanzar la meta.
In this Yuga, the destruction will come within the flicker of an eye. This destruction will be such that those sleeping will be left sleeping; those standing will be left standing. The whole world will be transformed like this. In this destruction everything will finish; nothing will remain the same.
You should therefore leave your attachment to the world. Only repetition of God's name will be useful for you; otherwise, it is hopeless. God's names are more powerful than a thousand atomic and hydrogen bombs. Help yourself by repeating the Lord's name.
All of you know that God's name is the highest thing. Why do you attach your minds to the transitory things in this world? Why do you not spend your time in meditation and in repeating the Lord's name?
Attach yourself to God. Be brave and always walk on.
There will be many mountains to cross, but do not stop until the goal is reached.
He venido a dar la liberación a todos. He venido a dar la luz
Now is the time for the repetition of the name of Hari (God)
“Give up all the negative karma and keep a firm determination in your mind.
“If you want salvation from Kal (time) come to My shelter,
then you will liberate and take across all those who are sleeping in this world.
“Strength in yoga is not required at this time;
Strength in penance is not required at this time;
The only strength required is the power of the Name of the Lord.
“I have given many types of knowledge and many teachings.
Now the time for knowledge and meditation is gone, the only
practice left is the repetition of the name of Hari.
Do not try to churn the ocean, Kamalo, churn your mind instead.
There is nothing outside; everything is in the mind Kamalo.
Inside the mind there is a big ocean of milk and big islands.
Everything is present there and all of creation is present inside
one’s body.
Always sing the glory of Gorakh and repeat the name of Shiva
with attention.
“Keep a firm determination and the Name will take you across the
ocean of this world. Do or don’t do other things, but do Japa
perfectly and this will take you to the heaven of Shiva.

Gorakhnath)
In the Gorakhvani
book
Sri Haidakhan
Babaji spoke as Gorakhnath to Vishnu Datt Misra - Kamalo
Shri Babaji with Vishnu Datt Shastriji
In 1976 Shri Babaji made a trip to
Nepal with Shastriji and several other devotees. He started to recite versus in
the old language of the Sadhu and Yogi's of India. He said that Shi Guru
Gorakhnath was speaking through Him.
It was there that Shri Babaji spoke
words of Shri Guru Gorakhnath to Kamalo (Vishnu Datt Shastriji) who noted down
this precious message the Lord gave to the world.
It has been lovingly compiled and translated together with Gaura Devi into a
small booklet now known as the Gorakhvani.
Question: When there is a nuclear war and a bomb lands, say in Bombay, all people, including the devotees, will die. What do you mean by "saving them through the mantra?"
Shri Babaji answers: "The fear of death is born with man, though this is the only thing he knows is certain to happen to him. Attachment to material things make man cling to life. When you chant the Name of the Divine, when you are one with the Divine, you accept death. While you are attached to life and afraid of death, you die with that fear and that weight clinging to you.
If you have attained liberation you are free from death (you accept the inevitable). You die without fear and by remembering the Name of God, your soul leaves the body free of that fear and attachment. If you are reborn, your soul is still free from that fear. If you die in 'unity,' you are free from rebirth, unless you will it."

Shri Mahaprabhuji (Babaji) has the 'holy thought' that the revolution (kranti) must be done peacefully. Babaji has come to change the world--not by fighting or with weapons and armaments. He transforms by changing the hearts of people through a simple method--Repetition of God's Holy Name. The Vibrations of the Name will change the world.
22 JANUARY 1983
This Om Namaha Shivaya is like nectar; 'feed everyone' with this nectar. Shri Mahaprabhuji wishes that all words would disappear from this world, except for three - Om Namaha Shivaya. This is the original mantra. When Primordial Energy first appeared, the First Mantra that She uttered from Her holy mouth was Om Namaha Shivaya.
`
(Mahaprabhuji means Great Lord... ॐ
Bhole Baba means Simple Father)
`
Babaji opened the general meeting by saying that anyone who was having any trouble or problems could speak. There followed a number of questions which Babaji answered:
Q: How can I still my mind?
A (Babaji): Do japa standing in water. The name of God should be repeated two and a half million times, sometimes standing in the water, as deep as you like, and other times sitting on your asan next to the water. Do this daily and then leave it when finished.
Q: At some times I feel happy but at other times I feel sad. What can I do to feel happy and keep my heart open?
A (Babaji): You must do japa more regularly.
Q: Sometimes I think I should do meditation but I don't feel like it, and at other times, when I try to meditate and japa, I cannot concentrate. What can I do ?
A (Babaji): You should get up at 12 in the night, take a bath, and then do japa for about an hour.
Q: When will the dream given to me by my Guru manifest?
[Note: This question was put to Babaji by an Indian devotee who had been given a very wonderful dream. by his Guru the contents of which he couldn't reveal, some ten years earlier.]
A (Babaji): In six months and nine days.
Q: How can I know that I am doing God's will when I am away from Babaji ?
A (Babaji): You should eat only fruit and milk for nine months.
Q: How can I put together my love, for my girlfriend and my love for God
A (Babaji): You can first concentrate on the love for the girlfriend and when you are satisfied, then come to God.
Q: What is the quickest way to realize God ?
A (Babaji): Japa.
Q: Is is better to repeat Om Namaha Shivaya by chanting slowly or by doing it fast ?
A (Babaji): Do it quickly.
Q: Should one have children during these times ?
A (Babaji): Having children is a law of nature; what will happen will happen, you cannot stop it.
Q: Is it a good thing or a bad thing to be afraid ?
A (Babaji): It is a good thing. To become fearless, you should repeat the name of Babaji all of the time.
In summary, Babaji said: "It is the duty of everybody who comes to Babaji to spread and repeat that name of God and to spread His message of Truth, Simplicity and Love. Those who return to their homes should go on tour and tell people that the way to save mankind is by following the teachings of Shri Babaji."
Babaji used the term "Kranti", which may be interpreted as "revolution" or "destruction". He said that a Maha Kranti (great revolution) was fast approaching and would be known as the Blood and Fire Kranti. When asked if everybody would be killed in this Kranti, Babaji compared this destruction with that of the Mahabharata (the great battle fought in Lord Krishna's time), when all the great warriors were killed.
"Those who remember Om Namaha Shivaya and Babaji are protected and saved."
Babaji was asked how others could be helped during this period. He said that this could be done by spreading the word of His presence and teachings and putting these notices in newspapers published throughout the world. Babaji said that it is your, foremost duty to tell the world of His message.
Babaji was asked if the world would be a better place after this Kranti and He said this was a subject for the next General Meeting in December. He then said that everybody was invited to Herakhan for Christmas.

THE POWER OF GOD'S NAME
Om nama Shivay
`
Babaji Guided Me in a Deep Meditation. With my eyes closed, I sat bolt upright and Experienced how my hands performed very Precise Mudras, which Activated Energy throughout my entire body, and at the same time, this 'set free' Deep Knowledge within me.
With My Breathing Consciousness I went through the middle of my forehead up to the Crown Chakra and Experienced, on the way, that there 'Exist within,' exits to various Divine Worlds in the Form of Numbers.
Moving Up My Forehead Consciously, I intensively Experienced the Christ Energy. The Portals to these Magnificent Realms expressed themselves as the Numbers from 70 to 90. The Crown Chakra had the Number 100 as the Portal to the Infinite.
There were Also yet Higher Levels that amazingly were not reached by rising yet higher, but by voluntarily descending again. But this time the way was not via the forehead, but down the back of the head. As easy as I had found it to ascend through the forehead, so, inversely, I found it strenuous to descend through the back of the head.
From One Level it led to the next, through the portals from 101, 102 to 103, to 104. Each time it required an inner stepping back, a kind of ability to 'renounce' that enabled entry into the next level. This Inner Path led from the back of the head down to the base of the skull. It needed my 'complete inner strength' of Conscious Mudras in order to move further down. I reached level 107 only with the greatest of effort.
I was Then at the end of my strength and asked : How do I get to 108?
Then I Saw the Mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAY Spread over the World like the finest icing sugar from the highest to the lowest level, and saw also that Everyone who Repeats the Name of God with Devotion, for instance in the Form OM NAMAH SHIVAY, is Immediately in the Highest Level. That means that every ordinary person who ploughs the earth lovingly in the Name of God is already in the Supreme.
What a Teaching!
How Deep Must God’s Love Be that he makes it So Simple. In this way it was Shown to Me that the Highest Divine Region cannot be Reached by one’s own efforts but Only through the Repetition of God’s Name.

700 Sacred Names of the Divine Mother of Haidakhan

Sankirtan is the singing of Lord’s names with faith and devotion.
In
Kali Yuga by the singing of the Lord's Names are obtained all the
fruits that were available to our forefathers who lived in the preceding
Yugas by severe penance, austere mode of life, performance of
sacrifices and such other unimaginably difficult ways of attainment.
I quote the words of four great masters about kirtan and the power of the name of God.
--- --- ---
‘Chant the name of the Lord always.’
By
chanting the mantra, its vibrations spread all round you. You will then
meditate for yourself and others. By holy chants alone, I will lead and
win any war in this world. Whatever happens, all the devotees of God
will be saved by Divine Will.
~ Haidakhan Babaji

‘Bhakti is the same as vichara (Self-enquiry).’
~ Sri Ramana Maharshi
Really there are only two methods, Enquiry and devotion. One leads to the other. A devotee concentrates on God.
A seeker, follower of the Jnana-marga seeks the Self. The practice is equally difficult for both.
Since
God is verily the Self, love of the Self is love of the God and that is
bhakti. Jnana and Bhakti are thus one and the same.
Service, like prayers, japa and even businesss done in God’s name, lead to the highest Goal; Self-realization.
Complete
effacement of the ego is necessary to conquer destiny, whether you
achieve this effacement through Self enquiry or through bhakti-marga.
Self-enquiry is possible for mature minds, not for immature ones.
For
the immature ones, japa nama, worship of images, pranayama, visualizing
a pillar of light and similar yogic and spiritual and religious
practices have been prescribed.
~ Sri Ramana Maharshi

‘By calling God by His name you make Him come to you.’
Q: The repetition of the name of God is very common in India. Is there any virtue in it?
M: When you know the name of a thing, or a person, you can find it easily. By calling God by His name you make Him come to you.
Q: This constant repetition of a few words, is it not a kind of madness?
M: It
is madness, but it is a deliberate madness. All repetitiveness is
tamas*, but repeating the name of God is sattva-tamas* due to its high
purpose. Because of the presence of sattva*, the tamas will wear out and
will take the shape of complete dispassion, detachment, relinquishment,
aloofness, immutability.
~ Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
Note:
* GUNAS: Gunas are the three qualities of nature and mind. Sattva (light, purity, balance, harmony).
Rajas (activity, passion, distraction).
Tamas (inertia, dullness, stagnation).
GUNAS & MIND: The gunas are the main substance of the mind.
Sattva makes the mind calm, pure, one-pointed, introverted, luminous and joyful. Rajas makes the mind extroverted, passionate, distractive, agitated, gives pleasure and pain.
Tamas makes the mind dull, obscured, cloudy, perversed, inert, inattentive and self destructive.
--- --- ---
‘Japa ultimately results in Samadhi or communion with the Lord.’
Japa Nama
is an important limb of Yoga or divine life. A mantra is divinity. Japa
is the repetition of the mantra or the names of the Lord.
In
Kali Yuga, practice of Japa alone can give eternal peace, bliss and
immortality. Japa ultimately results in Samadhi or communion with the
Lord.
Sankirtan is the singing of Lord’s names with faith and devotion.
When
you sing His names, feel that Lord Hari (God) or Ishta Devata* is
seated in your heart, that every name of the Lord is filled with divine
potencies, that the old vicious impressions in the subconscious mind
(Samskaras) and desires (Vasanas) are burnt by the power of the name and
that the mind is filled with Sattva or purity, that Rajas and Tamas are
completely destroyed, and that the veil of ignorance is torn down. This
kind of mental attitude brings the maximum benefit of Sankirtan.
It
is not the number of Japa or the length of time of Kirtan that counts
for spiritual growth but it is the intensity of Bhava with which the
Lord’s names are sung.
* Ishta Devata : The form you love to adore God. viz. Krishna, Jesus Christ etc.)
